A sample was taken from Bide Your Time at the Trainer’s kennel earlier today.
Champagne Luxe was quick to begin.
Lance Link, Hot Jean and Champagne Luxe collided soon after the start. Startron checked off White Cynder soon after the start. Bide Your Time and White Cynder collided soon after the start. Lance Link checked off Hot Jean soon after the start. Bide Your Time, White Cynder, Zipping Chaser and Startron collided approaching the first turn checking White Cynder. Zipping Chaser, Lance Link, Startron, Champagne Luxe and Hot Jean collided approaching the first turn severely checking Startron and Champagne Luxe. Lance Link checked off Zipping Chaser approaching the home turn checking White Cynder. Champagne Luxe and Startron collided entering the home straight. Hot Jean crossed to the inside in the home straight.
Bide Your Time underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a split webbing to the left hind paw. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
