Weblec King and Galway Grange collided soon after the start. Hope to Wyn checked off Ernie Bale soon after the start. Weblec King and Galway Grange collided several times from approaching the first turn to approaching the home turn. Galway Grange checked off Weblec King entering the home straight.
Galway Grange underwent a post-race veterinary examination, at the request of the Trainer, and was found to have a spike wound to the left hind paw. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
