Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Marcus Will. A post-race sample was subsequently taken.
Strawberry Swirl was quick to begin.
Tiki Monteya and Rampant Munster collided soon after the start checking Rampant Munster. Tiki Monteya checked off Marcus Will on the first turn. United Lass and Tiki Monteya collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Fonzarelli, Marcus Will and Nimble Leo collided approaching the home turn checking Nimble Leo, Rampant Munster, Stewie Deeds and severely checking Marcus Will which stumbled as a result.
Marcus Will underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A fourteen day stand down period was imposed.
