Steward's Report
Blue Cigar, Misha Bale and Jonty Bale were slow to begin.
Thomeli Kicks crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Inga Assalt. Inga Assalt and Thomeli Kicks collided several times approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Jonty Bale checked off Humble Inquiry on the first turn. Misha Bale and Humble Inquiry collided on the home turn and again in the home straight, checking both greyhounds. Misha Bale faltered in the home straight and lost ground as a result.
Misha Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A fourteen day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Blue Cigar - the winner of the event.
