Corbett and Zipping Lena collided soon after the start.  Zipping Lena and Royal Jebrynah collided approaching the first turn.  Whynot Gazza and Roayl Jebrynah collided on the first turn checking Royal Jebrynah.  Royal Jebrynah brushed the running rail entering the back straight and again approaching the third turn.  Gladiator and Zipping Lena collided entering the home straight. 

Royal Jebrynah underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.

Divya Bale was quick to begin.  Gin Lee's Dream went up with the lids and was slow to begin.  Why Not Pockets checked off Divya Bale on the second turn.  Why Not Pockets and Bubbles collided on the second turn checking Bubbles.  Why Not Pockets checked off Dyna Romy approaching the third turn.  Gin Lee's Dream and Bubbles collided on the third turn.

Dam Slippery - Performed an exhibition trial over the 515mtrs from box 3, weighing 24.2kgs. Split times were 5.06, 19.13 & the overall time was 29.866.

Mepunga Frankie, Bold, Grace Ali and Inkling were slow to begin.

Mepunga Frankie and Bold collided soon after the start checking Bold.  Mepunga Frankie, Zipping Keely and Ashby Nimble collided on the first turn checking Zipping Keely and Ashby Nimble, causing Grace Ali to race wide.  Ashby Nimble and Zipping Keely collided in the back straight checking both greyhounds causing Zipping Keely to brush the running rail.  Grace Ali and Ashby Nimble collided on the third turn checking Ashby Nimble and Zipping Keely.  Bold faltered approaching the winning post.

Bold underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right triangle injury and right foreleg toe injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Liberal Nunnio.

Shakey Coconut, Fifty Dollar and Liberal Nunnio were slow to begin.

Grey Ghost checked off Lylah's Way approaching the first turn.  May Haze, Striking Weetbix and Pagan Dancer collided approaching the first turn checking Pagan Dancer and severely checking May Haze which stumbled and lost considerable ground.  Grey Ghost and Kinloch Moss collided approaching the second turn and again entering the back straight checking both greyhounds.

May Haze underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle, left and right shoulder muscle injuries. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Dewana Help Me and Rowchester Miss were slow to begin.

Blue Shadows and Jaro Bale collided soon after the start.  Blue Shadows, Jaro Bale and Dyna Garner collided on the first turn checking Blue Shadows.  Dewana Help Me and Rowchester Miss collided on the first turn.  Dewana Help Me and Whoomph collided on the first turn severely checking Dewana Help Me which stumbled and lost ground.  Jaro Bale tied in the home straight.
