Paid Too Much underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to be displaying a mild form of PEDs. No stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr Frank Meyer regarding the performance of Paid Too Much on the turn off the back straight. Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Paid Too Much must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted. Stewards noted that the greyhound collapsed in the catching pen at the conclusion of the race.
