Stewards spoke to Mr Frank Meyer regarding the performance of Paid Too Much on the turn off the back straight.  Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Paid Too Much must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted. Stewards noted that the greyhound collapsed in the catching pen at the conclusion of the race.

Venus Allen – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound was stood down from racing at the Horsham for failing to chase due to injury.  Weighing 28.5 kgs and beginning from box one, Venus Allen completed the 410m trial distance in a time of 23:926.  Venus Allen placed first in a field of four winning by 1.75 lengths.  Venus Allen has been cleared to race at all tracks.
