Meehan Louie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have superficial spike wounds to the left hind paw and left hock. No stand down period was imposed.

Opala Bale and Miss Toy collided soon after the start. Rocket Express checked off Nella Bale on the first turn. Famola Bale stumbled approaching the home turn. Rocket Express, Famola Bale and Miss Toy collided on the home turn checking all three greyhounds. Rocket Express crossed to the outside in the home straight checking Miss Toy and Rocket Express. Haidee Bale and Nella Bale collided in the home straight. 

After viewing the head on footage and acting on their own observations, Stewards took no action against the racing manners of Haidee Bale in the home straight.

It was noted that the muzzle had become dislodged from Opala Bale during the running of the event.

Famole Bale underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected. 

Ernie Bale and Juniper Bale collided soon after the start.

Tizza Gem underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.

Stewards noted that there was significant movement in fixed odds betting surrounding Why Not Kez as the greyhounds were being boxed. Trainer Mr. L. Carter stated that he did not support the greyhound in today's event and could offer no explanation regarding the late betting movement of Why Not Kez.

The following Greyhounds performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial – The trail took place over 450m with 4 required to trial. The winning time of trial was 25.41.

Happy Medium finished 1st,  Parry Allen finished 2nd, Bourbski Bar finished 3rd, Shankly finished 4th.  

Shankly – Was stood down from racing at Dapto for marring. Weighing 33.1kg and beginning from box 1 beaten by 11 lengths. Shankly has been cleared to race all tracks except Dapto.

Parry Allen – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to an extended spell.  Weighing 36.8kg and beginning from box 3, Parry Allen completed the 450m trial distance in a time of 25.87. Parry Allen placed 2nd in a field of 4 beaten by 6.75 lengths. Parry Allen has been cleared to race.  

Bourbski Bar – Was stood down from racing at Sandown for failing to pursue the lure due to injury. Weighing 37.1kg and beginning from box 5 beaten by 7 lengths. Bourbski Bar has been cleared to race all tracks except Sandown. 

Happy Medium – Was stood down from racing at The Meadows for an unsatisfactory performance. Weighing 34.3kg and beginning from box 7 winning by 6.75 lengths. Happy Medium has been cleared to race at all tracks.
