Monster Harley was quick to begin.  Winlock Newbolt and Fernando's Riot were slow to begin.  Gai Keeping crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Perfect Marshall.  Franki Jay and Monster Harley collided soon after the start.  Franki Jay, Monster Harley, Gai Keeping, Winlock Newbolt, Perfect Marshall, No Vacancy, Fernando's Riot and Hardaway Winnie collided on the first turn checking Fernando's Riot, No Vacancy and Perfect Marshall, severely checking Monster Harley, Gai Keeping and Winlock Newbolt causing Franki Jay to fall.  No Vacancy checked off Fernando's Riot on the second turn.

Franki Jay was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Gai Keeping was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left pencil muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr Cannuli, Hander of Blue Hazard regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound in a timely manner.

Mr. Diaz was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hamstrings, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Representative, Ms. S. Warde. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Mr. Diaz was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Ms Warde pleaded guilty to the charge, and was found guilty.  Mr. Diaz must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
