Crowdza Rockin' collided approaching the home turn. Waltz On Bye checked off the heels of Bush Bro on the home turn. 

Harley Merrett underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of the Trainer and was found to have a laceration to the left hind toe. A 10 stand down period was imposed.

Layback Cruiser - Late scratching at 6.36pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr J Grima was fined $100.

As the green light was activated for this event it was noted that there was a greyhound on the loose in the car park. Subsequently all runners were removed from the starting boxes and underwent a veterinary examination. Once the loose greyhound was captured the runners were reloaded and as a result the race started approximately four minutes late. An inquiry with the participants concerned will be convened at a time to be fixed.

Winlock Intent underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race nine. Winlock Intent was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

'All Clear' was delayed for this event as Stewards viewed the official replays after a patron entered the racing surface in the vicinity of the winning post as the greyhounds ran past. After viewing the official replays Stewards were comfortably satisifed that the patron had no affect on the running of the race and as such 'All Clear' was declared.
