Walk With Yessam, Talkback Caller and Anna Leigh collided soon after the start checking Talkback Caller. Valley Wing and Callanish Sprite collided approaching the first turn. Valley Wing galloped on the heels of Callanish Sprite on the first turn checking Callanish Sprite. Walk With Yessam, Zipping Tex and Miss White Wash collided approaching the home turn checking Miss White Wash. Callanish Sprite lost ground on the home turn. Miss White Wash raced wide in the home straight.

Callanish Sprite was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

One Step Forward, Bad Words and Zipping Simon collided soon after the start checking Bad Words. Ashby Nimble and Work Zone collided approaching the first turn checking Ashby Nimble. Ashby Nimble brushed the running rail approaching the home turn and lost ground.

Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Debattista, the trainer of Kung Fu Hustle regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Kung Fu Hustle last raced on 1st December 2018. Mr Debattista stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after being seasonal.

Property Power and Dragonstone were quick to begin.

Base Camp and Dragonstone collided approaching the first turn checking Autocrat. Autocrat checked off Base Camp approaching the first turn checking Autocrat. Property Power and Dragonstone collided in the home straight. Autocrat and Wise Lewis raced wide in the home straight.

Destini Cowboy and Cheeky Chimp collided approaching the home turn checking Destini Cowboy. Cheeky Chimp stumbled entering the home straight.

During kennelling Stewards conducted a carpark check on all trainers’ vehicles engaged in today’s event. Stewards were satisfied that all trailers had adhered to the hot weather transport policy.
