We Have Issues was quick to begin.  Superior Kris, Spolly Smasher and Jazzier were slow to begin.

Miss Laquisha and Inter Rose collided on the first turn checking Inter Rose, Inter Rose lost ground as a result.  Inter Rose and Jazzier collided approaching the home turn.  Miss Laquisha and Superior Kris collided in the home straight checking Superior Kris.

Inter Rose underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left shoulder injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Oh Spolly was quick to begin.

Kip Your Best and On DeGoey collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Reggie Hatton and Muza's Belle collided on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Kip Your Best eased on the first turn.

Kip Your Best underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr S. Kipirtidis, regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Kip Your Best was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Kipirtidis pleaded not guilty to the charge, Kip Your Best was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Bees On Fire, Kel Knight and Jugdish collided soon after the start.  Layback Cruiser and Due To Burn collided on the first turn checking Layback Cruiser.  Bees On Fire checked off Layback Cruiser on the home turn.

Spazzy Blue was quick to begin.

Dynamic Rainbow checked off Velocity Alaina approaching the first turn.  Goodbye Goldie galloped on Dynamic Rainbow approaching the first turn severely checking Goodbye Goldie which lost ground and subsequently pulled up.  Dyna Reaver and Dynamic Rainbow collided on the first turn.  Lock Pepper checked off Velocity Alaina on the first turn.  Dyna Reaver, Mahi Indian and Lock Pepper collided on the third turn checking Dyna Reaver.  Mahi Indian and Lock pepper collided approaching the home turn checking Mahi Indian.  Dyna Reaver and Mahi Indian collided entering the home straight checking Mahi Indian.  

Goodbye Goldie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have right hock dislocation. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.  Based on the OTVs recommendation, GRV Stewards require a Follow-Up Vet Consultation:  Next Day.

Empty Chamber stumbled at box rise and lost ground.  Liberal Nunnio, Dyna Kara and Doused In Mud collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Kara and Doused In Mud.  Sapphire Power and Liberal Nunnio raced wide on the first turn.  Empty Chamber and Dyna Kara collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Dyna Kara checked off Doused In Mud on the second turn.  Yelredda Saint tired over the concluding stages.

Let's Roll and Pacific Beach were quick to begin.

Pacific Coast crossed out soon after the start and collided with Let's Roll checking Pacific Coast.  Josie's Entity and Pacific Action collided approaching the first turn checking Pacific Action.  Pacific Coast and Zipping Benny collided on the first turn checking Pacific Coast.  Pacific Beach contacted the running rail approaching the home turn.  Josie's Entity and Pacific Action collided entering the home straight.

Porscha's Girl was quick to begin.

Mother Monster and Lightning Boxy collided soon after the start.  Lightning Boxy checked off Buckle Up York soon after the start.  Destini Agitator and Alina Grand collided soon after the start.  Destini Agitator galloped on Buckle Up York on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Destini Agitator and Lightning Boxy collided on the first turn checking Lightning Boxy.  Spritely Star checked off Porscha's Girl on the home turn.  

Aston Veloci was quick to begin.  Secret Business was slow to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start.

Gappy Hilmore and Tooka half collided approaching the first turn checking Tooka Half.  Super Spolly checked off Gappy Hilmore approaching the first turn.  Buckle Up Spud and Magic Trap collided on the first turn checking Magic Trap, Cataleya, Tooka Half and Secret Business, Super Spolly raced wide as a result.  Magic Trap, Cataleya and Secret Business collided on the home turn checking Secret Business.  Secret Business checked off Magic Trap entering the home straight checking Tooka Half.

Rosta Power checked off Indira's Girl soon after the start.  Evie Girl faltered approaching the first turn and subsequentially tailed off.  Spolly's Girl eased, lost ground and subsequentially tailed off on the first turn.  Go Zippy Go clipped the heels of Miss Dozer approaching the home turn and fell severely checking Rosta Power which fell.

Spolly's Girl underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.

Stewards spoke to Mr S. Spoljaric the owner of Spolly’s Girl after he declined a re-vet regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Spolly’s Girl was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Spoljaric pleaded guilty to the charge, Spolly’s Girl was suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Go Zippy Go underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury and a right foreleg torn nail. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Rosta Power underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Evie Girl underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left back muscle injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

MEETING COMMENTS:

Atarah- Presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling as the greyhound was scratched from Horsham 19 March 2019. Atarah was examined by the on-course veterinarian and found to not free from injury. Atarah was Not Cleared to race.

The following Greyhounds performed a Stewards Satisfactory Trial – The trail took place over 311mtrs with 3 required to trial. The winning time of trial was 17:87:         

Inter Mimi finished 1st, Prompt finished 2nd, Galloping Flash finished 3rd.

Inter Mimi – Was stood down from racing at Horsham for failing to chase. Weighing 29.3kgs and beginning from box 3 winning by 4 lengths. Inter Mimi has been cleared to race at all tracks.

Galloping Flash – Performed a Stewards Satisfactory and weight trial as the greyhound has not competed in an event for in excess of six months due to a front left amputated toe.  Weighing 30.9kgs and beginning from box 5, beaten by 11 ¼ lengths. Galloping Flash has been cleared to race at all tracks.

Prompt – Was stood down from racing at Ballarat for failing to chase. Weighing 33.3kgs and beginning from box 8 beaten by 4 lengths. Prompt has been cleared to race at all tracks.
