Kennel representative Mr. Jeff Galea was questioned regarding the scratching of Rockalot in this event as this enabled Little Pookie, who is owned by the same interests, to gain a start. Mr. Jeff Galea was advised that Stewards would require a veterinary certificate for Rockalot before any future nomination will be accepted.
Subscapularis and Supraspinatus were slow to begin.
Little Pookie, Subscapularis and Super Stoked collided on the first turn, checking Subscapularis and Super Stoked.
A post-race sample was taken from Raweenie - the winner of the event.
