Shady Buck and Goldenpaw Lad collided soon after the start.
Shady Buck underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right gracilis (back muscle) injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Last Outlaw underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury could be detected.
Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Davis, trainer of Last Outlaw, regarding the greyhound performing below market expectations. Mr. Davis stated, that in his opinion, Last Outlaw may not have backed up from a three day break and felt that the increase in distance in tonight's event may have also been a factor in the greyhound's performance. Stewards noted Mr. Davis' explanation and took no further action.
