A pre-race sample was taken from Cherokee Fawn.
Adori was quick to begin.
Many Paws and True were slow to begin.
Adori, Mitta Mitta and Mepunga Frankie collided approachig the first turn checking Mitta Mitta. Many Paws and Mitta Mitta collided on the first turn checking Mitta Mitta. Our Airman checked off Many Paws on the first turn. Red Rochelle and Adori collided entering the home straight checking Red Rochelle and Our Airman, Red Rochelle stumbled as a result. Adori and Our Airman collided approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.
Mitta Mitta underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right fore leg monkey muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
