Steward's Report
May Haze was quick to begin. Kingsbrae Cheeko, Dex's Affair and Flying Smart were slow to begin.
Blocker Tifia, Zambora Andy and Give Away King collided soon after the start. May Haze and Monster Machine collided approaching the first turn. Monster Machine, Blocker Tifia, Zambora Andy and Give Away King collided approaching the first turn. Blocker Tifia and Zambora Andy collided on the first turn checking Zambora Andy, Kingsbrae Cheeko and Give Away King. Flying Smart faltered approaching the second turn and pulled up. Kingsbrae Cheeko and Give Away King collided approaching the second turn.
Flying Smart underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture. A 90 stand down period was imposed. Based on the OTVs recommendation, GRV Stewards require a Follow-Up Vet Consultation Next Day.
A post-race sample was taken from May haze - winner of the event.
