Steward's Report
Clouded Acorn stumbled at box rise and was very slow to begin(4L).
Bush Destroyer and Tiggy Buzzard collided soon afer the start checking Bush Destroyer. Myrniong And All and Pumpernickel collided approaching the first turn. Clouded Acorn raced wide in the home straight.
A sample was taken from Jar Man - the winner of the event.
Clouded Acorn was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards issued a warning to trainer Mr. D. Fleming after he was late arriving at the kennels to retrieve Bush Destroyer for its engagement. In arriving at the decision, stewards took into account Mr Flemings previous good record, and the fact that he was dealing with a work related emergency situation.
