Stewards issued a warning to trainer Mr. D. Fleming after he was late arriving at the kennels to retrieve Bush Destroyer for its engagement. In arriving at the decision, stewards took into account Mr Flemings previous good record, and the fact that he was dealing with a work related emergency situation.

Balance was a late scratching at 5.45pm on Veterinary advice (GAR 37)(fleas). Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted.
