One Step Forward, Shifting Sands and Lava You Beauty collided approaching the first turn checking One Step Forward, Shifting Sands and Tekidanto. Tessa Allen and Shifting Sands collided on the first turn checking Tessa Allen which brushed the running rail as a result. One Step Forward checked off Lava You Beauty on the first turn. One Step Forward and Tekidanto collided approaching the second turn checking One Step Forward, Tekidanto and Aston Peregrine. Aston Peregrine raced wide as a result. Blue Hazard and Shifting Sands collided entering the back straight checking Shifting Sands. Aston Peregrine and Tekidanto collided in the home straight.

Mossy Girl was a late scratching at 7.10 pm (Tuesday 5th March) due to Tonsilitis (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Lochinvar Deus was slow to begin. 

Hooked On You crossed out soon after the start checking Wynburn Lucifer and She Will Bloom. Lochinvar Deus, Wynburn Lucifer and Loch Tight collided on the first turn checking Wynburn Lucifer. Noosa Parade, Lochinvar Deus and She Will Bloom collided in the front straight checking Noosa Parade and Lochinvar Deus. Wynburn Lucifer checked off Noosa Parade on the home turn. Hooked On You tired over the concluding stages.

Stevie Jane was slow to begin.

Unsound Mind, Cruising Betty and Star Fever collided approaching the first turn checking Unsound Mind and Crusing Betty. Lonesomeness checked off Star Fever on the first turn checking Vanna Allen which raced wide as a result. Unsound Mind and Stevie Jane collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds. Vanna Allen stumbled in the back straight and lost ground. Dyna Saurus raced wide entering the home straight.

Dyna Saurus was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Vanna Allen was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury left shoulder, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Zipping Oliver upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Murray Mojito and Miss Bea collided soon after the start. Legerwood Libby and Revved Up Dee collided soon after the start. Murray Mojito and Miss Bea collided approaching the first turn. Murray Mojito and Smart Mary collided approaching the second turn and again approaching the third turn. Zipping Oliver raced wide on the home turn. Miss Bea crossed to the outside in the home straight and collided with Legerwood Libby. Miss Bea and Zipping Oliver collided approaching the winning post.

Miss Bea was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury sustained. Stewards issued a warning to Mr G. Robinson, the trainer of Miss Bea regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

Southwood Ace, Destini Cavalier and You Aussie were slow to begin. 

Hazelwood Flyer and Sustain The Rage collided soon after the start. Rock Johnson, Kiss Me Razley and Whip Allen on the first turn. Southwood Ace and Hazelwood Flyer collided on the first turn. Hazelwood Flyer and Destini Cavalier collided on the first turn checking Destini Cavalier. Rock Johnson and Southwood Ace collided on the third turn. Hazelwood Flyer checked off Destini Cavalier on the home turn.

New Samsation was slow to begin.

Riley Allen and Pagan Dancer collided approaching the first turn checking Riley Allen. Annie Lava and Pagan Dancer collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Another Bling and New Samsation collided entering the front straight checking both greyhounds. Riley Allen checked off Another Bling in the front straight checking Annie Lava. New Samsation and Pagan Dancer collided approaching the second turn. Pagan Dancer and Celestial Jewel collided several times approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. A sample was taken from Lucy's Milo - the winner of the event. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Crawford, trainer of Pagan Dancer regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. After taking evidence from Mr. Crawford, acting on their own observations and viewing the official footage, Stewards took no action against Pagan Dancer. 

Seabrook Gem, Max Tractor and Hoo Gur Affair were quick to begin.

Dyna Bonnay and Scott To Give collided soon after start. Hoo Gur Affair and Dyna Garner collided on the first turn. Seabrook Gem and Mahoney Miss collided on the second turn.

Mr. G. Rigg failed to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Lady Christina pursuant to GAR 33. Stewards accepted his explanation and took no further action.

Cloud Cover was slow to begin. 

Limburg Patrick and Jimbo's Sox collided soon after the start. Sable Sass and You Blue collided soon after the start. Go Slow Goldy and You Blue collided on the first turn. Limburg Patrick and Jimbo's Sox collided on the first turn. Go Slow Goldy and Lady Christina collided on the second turn. Sable Sass and Jimbo's Sox collided on the home turn. Lightning Ben and Cloud Cover Cover on the home turn.

Bejarano was slow to begin. 

Rowchester Miss and Aston Ranza collided soon after the start. Aston Ranza galloped on Rowchester Miss on the first turn checking Rowchester Miss. Bejarano and Aston Ranza collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Bejarano and Aston Ranza collided approaching the third turn checking Aston Ranza. Rowchester Miss failed to pursue the lure with due committment approaching the winning post.

Rowchester Miss was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right deltiod and right pectoral muscles, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr C. Schlensog, the representative of the greyhound Rowchester Miss regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Rowchester Miss was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right deltoid and right pectoral, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Rowchester Miss with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Schlensog pleaded not guilty to the charge, Rowchester Miss was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Sweet Bourbski was quick to begin. Orleans and El Donberto were slow to begin. 

Ayo Joy and Sweet Bourbski collided on the first turn checking Ayo Joy, Sweet Bourbski, Ash Star, Orleans and El Donberto. Sweet Bourbski pulled up on the second turn.

Sweet Borbski was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left back muscle, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
