Steward's Report
The outside temperature prior to this event was 34.5 degrees, the inside kennel temperature immediately prior to this event when the greyhounds were retrieved was 20.4 degrees.
A pre race sample was taken from Rosta Power.
Oliver Cruise was slow to begin.
Good Humour crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Bill Heeny. Oliver Cruise crossed to the outside approaching the 150m mark. Di Canio and Princess America collided at the 50m mark.
Meeting Comments:
During kennelling Stewards conducted a carpark check on all greyhound transportation vehicles at today’s meeting. Stewards were satisfied that all Trainers had adhered to the hot weather transport policy.
