Farady was slow to begin. Golden Devil, Ballistic Yaala and Mogo Jet collided soon after the start checking Ballistic Yaala. Saint West and She Will Bloom collided soon after the start. Golden Devil, Mogo Jet and Funky Facts collided approaching the first turn. Mogo Jet and Golden Devil collided on the first turn checking Funky Facts. Ballistic Yaala and Lady Pandora collided on the first turn checking Funky Facts and She Will Bloom. Golden Devil, Mogo Jet and Saint West collided on the first turn checking Saint West and  Mogo Jet. Lady Pandora checked off Mogo Jet approaching the second turn. Funky Facts and Golden Devil collided approaching the second turn checking Funky Facts and Ballistic Yaala. Ballistic Yaala and Mogo Jet collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Lady Pandora checked off She Will Bloom in the back straight and collided with Mogo Jet.  Faraday, Funky Facts, Golden Devil and Saint West collided approaching the third turn severely checking Saint West which fell as a result; checking Mogo Jet and Lady Pandora. Funky Facts eased on the third turn and collided with Golden Devil.

Saint West was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left shoulder injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr B Mackie, the trainer of the greyhound Funky Facts regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the third turn. Funky Facts was vetted and revetted following race 6.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right shoulder and left shin. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Funky Facts with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr  Mackie pleaded guilty to the charge, Funky Facts was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Miss Dee Meadows and All Inn Baz collided approaching the second turn.

Stewards spoke to Ms J. Gill, the owner of Miriam regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Miriam last raced on 20 September 2018. Ms Gill stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being on season.

Zipping Blaze was quick to begin. Broken Promise was slow to begin. Galloping Rokyto and Miriam collided soon after the start checking Galloping Rokyto. Miriam and Whip Allen collided approaching the first turn. Galloping Rokyto and Beckham collided approaching the first turn. Broken Promise and Whip Allen collided on the first turn checking Miriam. Miriam and Beckham collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds. Broken Promise and Whip Allen collided on the second turn checking Whip Allen. Galloping Rokyto galloped on the heels of Whip Allen on the third turn checking both greyhounds. Go Seek Fernando checked off Zipping Blaze approaching the home turn. Whip Allen and Miriam collided on the home turn.

Especial Shiraz, Lektra Zephyr and Jumbo Bale were slow to begin. Dorrigo Bale, Striking Weetbix and Kraken Bam Bam collided soon after the start checking Striking Weetbix and Kraken Bam Bam.
