This meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected', however at the start of kenneling the outside temperature was 24.2 degrees and the kennel bay temperature was 17.7 degrees. The Hot Weather Policy was dispensed of as the temperature was significantly lower than 32 degrees.

Maramba was a late scratching at 2.46pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr N Hunt was fined the sum of $100.

Stewards spoke to Mrs Delbridge, the representative of Tinker Buzz regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Tinker Buzz last raced on 4th October 2018. Mrs Delbridge stated that the greyhound had changed kennels.

Please Stand Up was vetted It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right shoulder and right hip, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr J Galea, the handler of the greyhound Please Stand Up regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), Stewards charged Please Stand Up with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Galea pleaded guilty to the charge, Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Graphic Print trialled over the 400m from box 1, weight 30.3kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 22.58, the greyhound won by a margin of 11.25L. Graphic Print was Cleared.
