Crying Paw eased approaching the first turn checking Special Black and If You Like. Nana Denise and Crying Paw collided approaching the home turn checking Nana Denise. Nana Denise and Muza's Gift collided approaching the home turn checking Muza's Gift and Special Black. If You Like and Crying Paw collided on the home turn. Belle's On Boost raced wide entering the home straight. Nana Denise raced wide in the home straight.

Twilight Connie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left wrist. A stand down period of 90 days was imposed.

Crying Paw was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Brodtman, the trainer of the greyhound Crying Paw regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the first turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Crying Paw with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Brodtman pleaded guilty to the charge, Crying Paw was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to trainer Mr R.Brodtman and remindered him of his responsibilites when checking the clearance the leave the track board pursuant to GAR 42(2).

Mr Paul Abela, trainer of Aston Talks declared a new weight of 34.2kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Aston Talks last raced a 32.4kg.

Aston Talks was slow to begin. Flossy Lee and Outrage collided approaching the first turn. Eddie and Flossy Lee collided on the first turn checking Eddie. Outrage galloped on the heels of Flossy Lee approaching the first turn checking Flossy Lee. Eddie clipped the heels of Flossy Lee on the home turn. Aston Talks raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

Flossy Lee was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained mild abrasions to the left and right hind paws. No stand down period was imposed.

Ride High was slow to begin. I'm Orion and Aston Joyner collided soon after the start checking Aston Joyner. Aston Joyner, I'm Orion and Miss Dangerwood collided on the first turn checking I'm Orion and Aston Joyner. Ride High and Kraken Greta collided approaching the home turn. Thumbs and Amanda Lee collided entering the home straight. Aston Joyner galloped on the heels of I'm Orion entering the home straight.

Mayor Digby was quick to begin. Undeniably and Aston Sultan collided soon after the start checking Aston Sultan. Undeniably brushed the running rail approaching the home turn and collided with Aston Sultan and Placid Murphy checking Aston Sultan.

Dybala galloped on the heels of Dewana Jayden on the first turn checking Dybala and Rocket Strike and severely checking Dewana Jayde and Sergeant Schultz causing Sergeant Schultz to fall and tail off as a result. Maximum Tiff and Back Burn collided in the back straight. Rocket Strike and Sergeant Schultz collided entering the home straight. Dybala raced wide in the home straight.

Dewana Jayden was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left hind 5th toe. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Sergeant Schultz was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

A sample was taken from Kraken Dust, winner of the event.

Subconscious was quick to begin. Zoro Blaze was slow to begin. Orazzi Ohh, Aston Ranza and Ah Sugar Sugar collided on the first turn checking Aston Ranza. Zoro Blaze and Aston Ranza collided on the second turn. Zoro Bale galloped on the heels of Aston Ranza approaching the home turn.

A sample was taken from Subconscious, winner of the event. 

Pyrenees Classic and My Fernando were slow to begin. Pyrenees Classic, Kraken Forest and Five Times Table collided on the first turn checking Five Times Table. Pyrenees Classic clipped the heels of Kraken Forest approaching the home turn checking Pyrenees Classic.

Five Times Table was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Rocket Ruby was slow to begin. Eyes On You and Base Camp collided soon after the start checking Eyes On You. Racketeer, Cherokee Shimmer, Base Camp and Amigo Two collided on the first turn checking Racketeer, Hillbilly Boy and Base Camp and severely checking Cherokee Shimmer. Eyes On You and Rocket Ruby collided approaching the home turn. Eyes On You and Rocket Ruby collided on the home turn. Racketeer and Eyes On You collided entering the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. K. Ryan after the greyhound Rocket Ruby was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. Mr. K. Ryan was issued with a warning and reminded when kennelling he ensures greyhounds are kennelled in accordance with kennel procedure. 

Stewards spoke to kennel attendant, Ms. L. Barnes after the greyhound Rocket Ruby was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. Ms. Barnes was reminded of her responsibilities and asked to ensure that all greyhounds are correctly kennelled in future. This matter was referred to the Club Manager for further consideration. 

Seabrook Eb, Miss Pocket Aces, Liberal Nunnio and Alezan were slow to begin. Miss Pocket Aces and Liberal Nunnio collided on the first turn causing Liberal Nunnio to stumble. Serendipity Gold and Our Flying Laura collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Double Ya Back and Serendipity Gold collided on the first turn. Spyfection and Miss Pocket Aces collided entering the home straight. Serendipity Gold raced wide entering the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from Avatar Maximus.

Destini Agitator was quick to begin. Nimble Foot and Avatar Maximus was slow to begin. Pyrenees Inferno and Cee Jay Ace collided on the first turn. Destini Agitator and Dragonstone collided on the first turn checking Destini Agitator and Peter Yap. Avatar Maximus checked off Destini Agitator on the home turn. Nimble Foot raced wide entering the home straight.

Avatar Maximus was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound was found to have a slow recovery. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.

This meeting was deemed Hot Weather Affected. Prior to the running of this event the outside temperature was 31.6 degrees and the kennel temperature was 17.0 degrees.

Stewards spoke to Ms Sandra Elmes, the handler of Lilly An' Page regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Lilly An' Page last raced on 6 September, 2018. Ms Elmes stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a change of kennels.

A pre-race sample was taken from Macs Model.

Macs Model and Lilly An' Page were slow to begin. Serendipity Man and Lilly An' Page collided in the back straight. Line Trike, White Ambush, Strike Power and Macs Model collided on the first turn, checking White Ambush, Macs Model and Strike Power.

Serendipity Man was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
