Steward's Report
Ursula Allen was quick to begin. Akina Blitz and Graphic Print were slow to begin.
Diamond Bling shifted in soon after the start and collided with Hollywood Donuts, Graphic Print and Sleepwalk Dance, checking Diamond Bling and Graphic Print. Hollywood Donuts, Graphic Print and Diamond Bling collided on the first turn checking Graphic Print. Hollywood Donuts raced wide on the first turn checking Graphic Print and Diamond Bling. Graphic Print shifted out in the back straight and collided with Hollywood Donuts checking both greyhounds. Graphic Print checked off Hollywood Donuts on the third turn. Mrs. Flintstone checked off Ursula Allen entering the home straight. Akina Blitz and Sleepwalk Dance collided in the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr B. Reid the trainer of the greyhound Graphic Print regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the back straight. Graphic Print was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the right front toe, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Graphic Print with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Reid pleaded not guilty to the charge, Graphic Print was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.
