Patrick Francis checked off Angry Trip on the first turn causing Patrick Francis, Bombardier King and Akina Ivy to collide severely checking Akina Ivy, Angry Trip and Patrick Francis, Akina Ivy and Angry Trip fell, Angry Trip and Patrick Francis pulled up and Bombardier King lost ground as a result.
