Steward's Report
Chill Out Chris and Bourbski Bar were quick to begin.
Miss Heart and Zipping Keely collided on the first turn checking Miss Heart. Miss Heart and Zipping Keely collided on the second turn checking Zipping Keely. Peppertide raced wide in the back straight. Miss Heart checked off Chill Out Chris in the back straight.
Peppertide was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right chest muscle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Pursell regarding the greyhounds below market expectation performance in the event. Mr Pursell explained that the greyhound was having his first start at the track and is a greyhound that will improve with more track experience.
A post-race sample was taken from Bourbski Bar - winner of the event.
