Steward's Report

Positive Gearing was a late scratching at 5.17pm on Veterinary advice (GAR 37)(fleas).No stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Flying Spaniard, Koenigsegg Agera and Seal The Deal collided soon after the start severely checking Koenigsegg Agera. Mepunga Wonder and Lady Maximus collided approaching the first turn. Frankie Moss and Koenigsegg Agera collided on the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Flying Spaniard checked off Mepunga Wonder approaching the home turn. Koenigsegg Agera raced wide on the home turn.  

Koenigsegg Agera was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left wrist. No stand down period was imposed.

Frankie Moss which tailed off,was vetted and re-vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards spoke to Mr Jye Formosa the handler of the greyhound Frankie Moss. Stewards deemed the performance of Frankie Moss unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Frankie Moss must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
