Stewards spoke to Mrs L. Hellmuth, the trainer of Coffee Scroll regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Coffee Scroll last raced on 5 September 2018 and is returning from a right front tendon injury. Mrs Hellmuth also declared a new weight of 29.1kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Coffee Scroll last raced at 27.9kgs.

Tiki Monteya, Coffee Scroll and Tessa Allen collided soon after the start.  Island Cruiser and Tiki Monteya collided approaching the first turn.  Island Cruiser, Tiki Monteya and Coffee Scroll collided on the first turn checking Tiki Monteya.  Island Cruiser and Coffee Scroll collided approaching the second turn checking Coffee Scroll and causing Tiki Monteya to clip the heels of Coffee Scroll, Tiki Monteya lost ground as a result.  Tessa Allen checked off Rock It Fernando approaching the home turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Racing Pulse upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Cullquin Darrio and Yakima were slow to begin.

Zipping Murphy turned its head inwards and then outwards free of interference soon after the start and in doing so failed to pursue the lure with due commitment.

Zipping Murphy checked off Dazzling Bling soon after the start and again on the first turn.  Zipping Murphy and Yakima collided entering the back straight and again in the back straight.

Zipping Murphy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  

Stewards spoke to Mrs L. Cockerell, the representative of the greyhound Zipping Murphy regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Zipping Murphy with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mrs Cockerell pleaded guilty to the charge, Zipping Murphy was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Meadows and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre-race sample was taken from Shifting Sands upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Mr P. Burky, trainer of Alter Ego declared a new weight of 27.0kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Alter Ego last raced at 25.7kgs.

Flashy De Goey was slow to begin.

Sleepwalk Dance crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Shifting Sands.  Alter Ego crossed out soon after the start clipping the heels of Shifting Sands.  Zipping Sandy checked off Shifting Sands on the first turn causing Zipping Sandy and Alter Ego to collide checking both greyhounds, Zipping Sandy lost ground as a result.

Stewards spoke to Mrs L. Cockerell regarding the racing manners of Zipping Sandy soon after the start and took no further action.

Clovalley Arnie was a late scratching at 11.40am on Veterinary advice (GAR 37) (fleas). No stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr G. Kantzidis, trainer of Nicky As declared a new weight of 24.4kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Nicky As last raced at 25.9kgs.

Kid Lavros was slow to begin.

Broken Pieces and Sunita Lass collided soon after the start.  Diamond Bling, Broken Pieces, Sunita Lass and Maximum Kobi collided on the first turn.  Kid Lavros, Broken Pieces, Sunita Lass and Maximum Kobi collided approaching the second turn checking all four greyhounds.

A pre-race sample was taken from Soda Geoff upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Soda Geoff and Buddy's Entity collided soon after the start.  Mr. Cashway and Soda Geoff collided soon after the start checking Soda Geoff, causing Soda Geoff and Yoppi Allen to collide.  Ursula Allen and Mr. Cashway collided approaching the first turn.  Dyna Garner, Mr. Cashway and Buddy's Entity collided on the first turn.  Yoppi Allen checked off Soda Geoff on the first turn.  Stevie Jane and Dyna Garner collided entering the back straight.  Soda Geoff and Yoppi Allen collided entering the back straight.  Stevie Jane and Dyna Garner collided on the third turn causing Buddy's Entity to check off Stevie Jane.  

A post-race sample was taken from New Samsation - winner of the event.  

Mepunga Zeus and Ayo Joy collided soon after the start.  Sisco Bella and Orazzi Ohh collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Mepunga Zeus, Ayo Joy and Pandaken collided on the first turn checking Mepunga Zeus and severely checking Pandaken, Ayo Joy fell as a result.  Pandaken checked off Mepunga Zeus in the front straight.  Orazzi Ohh and Reiko Ablett collided on the second turn checking Big Bang Tears.  Orazzi Ohh checked on the third turn and commenced to lose ground over the concluding stages.  

Ayo Joy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that that the greyhound sustained a left chest muscle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Pandaken was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Orazzi Ohh was vetted and re-vetted following event 9.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hind toe laceration and a left back muscle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Reiko Ablett - winner of the event.  

A pre-race sample was taken from Cullquin Cersei upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Bakali Louis and Master Rico collided soon after the start checking Bakali Louis.  Cullquin Cersei and Undeniably collided soon after the start.  Undeniably and Fairy Vixen collided on the first turn.  Bakali Louis and Giant Bale collided on the first turn checking Giant Bale, Bakali Louis faltered and lost ground as a result.  Master Rico, Cullquin Cersei, Undeniably and Fairy Vixen collided on the second turn checking Undeniably and Fairy Vixen.  Master Rico and Cullquin Cersei collided in the back straight.

Bakali Louis was vetted and re-vetted following event 9.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle, left and right chest muscles, left and right triangles and right sartorius muscle injuries, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Midnight Memphis - winner of the event.

Kiss Me Razley, Zipping Dancer and Kiss Me Nicki collided soon after the start.  Zipping Dancer and Kiss Me Nicki collided approaching the first turn.  Dat Dat Daty and Zipping Dancer collided on the first turn.  Zipping Hayne checked off Slingshot Jayla on the first turn.  Dat Dat Daty and Zipping Dancer collided approaching the second turn.  Dat Dat Daty checked off Zipping Dancer entering the back straight checking Zipping Dancer.  Lady Mikado checked off Slingshot Jayla in the back straight.  Dat Dat Daty and Zipping Dancer collided approaching the third turn, checking Zipping Dancer who lost ground causing Lady Mikado and Zipping Dancer to collide.

Zipping Dancer was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Rains It Pours checked off Go Slow Goldy approaching the first turn causing Broadway Polka and Rains It Pours to collide.  Kaylin checked off Handsome Jake approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Broadway Polka checked off Go Slow Goldy on the first turn causing Broadway Polka to race wide checking Rains It Pours and Handsome Jake.  Broadway Polka raced wide in the home straight.

Matty Mateusz and Rockstar Jane collided soon after the start.  Another Bling and Revved Up Dee collided entering the front straight checking Revved Up Dee.  Revved Up Dee checked off Another Bling approaching the second turn checking Revved Up Dee.  Rockstar Jane checked off Matty Mateusz approaching the home turn causing Rockstar Jane and Another Bling to collide.  

Mr J. Ennis, the representative of So It Goes declared a new weight of 33.3kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). So It Goes last raced at 34.9kgs.

Tao Tao, Sarah Smirnoff, Jumbo Bale and So It Goes collided soon after the start.  Owen Money, Double Ya Back and Sarah Smirnoff collided approaching the first turn checking Double Ya Back.  Owen Money, Sarah Smirnoff, Jumbo Bale and So It Goes collided on the first turn.  Cette To Dance and Cruisy's Lil collided approaching the second turn.  Owen Money checked off Cette To Dance entering the back straight checking Cette To Dance, Cette To Dance lost ground as a result.  Sarah Smirnoff checked off Owen Money in the back straight checking Owen Money causing Sarah Smirnoff and So It Goes to collide.  Double Ya Back and Owen Money collided in the back straight.  So It Goes and Cette To Dance collided approaching the third turn checking Cette To Dance, Cette To Dance lost ground as a result.  So It Goes checked off Double Ya back approaching the home turn.  Owen Money checked off Tao Tao approaching the home turn.

Cette To Dance was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist sprain, right chest muscle injury, abrasions and bruising to both hind legs, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
