Steward's Report
Due to the state of the track and the remaining greyhounds being kennelled for an extended period of time Stewards abandoned races 6-12.
After terrential rain the track was washed away in certain areas. After substantial remedial work by track staff, the track could not be repaired to an adequate standand in the required timeframe and as such Stewards abandoned the remaining races at 4:29pm.
Stewards conducted a random ballot for event 7 - Laurels Semi Final 2 and event 8 - Laurels Semi Final 3 in accordance with GAR 57(2)(b) and GAR 57(2)(c) to determine the remaining 5 greyhounds and first reserve which shall be eligible to participate further in the series, the final 20/12/2018. The successful greyhounds were, Valencia Gem, Often Imitated, Flossing, Sweet As Emm, Shoot To Miss and first reserve Grace Ali.
