Morpheus and Kurtis Pandora were slow to begin.  Sky Wesley crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Black Hornet and Broken Pieces.  Cabin Fever, Milly's Coconut and Morpheus collided approaching the first turn checking Milly's Coconut and Morpheus.  Milly's Coconut checked off Morpheus on the first turn.  Broken Pieces and Kurtis Pandora collided on the first turn.  Cabin Fever hit the running rail on the first turn.  Cabin Fever checked off Broken Pieces on the third turn.  Morpheus and Sky Wesley collided on the home turn.

Cabin Fever was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Yoppi Allen, Dyna Francine, Aston Ranza, Kintamani, Dyna Helena and Celestial Jewel collided soon after the start checking Celestial Jewel and Aston Ranza.  Lektra Zephyr, Yoppi Allen, Dyna Francine, Aston Ranza and Dyna Helena collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Francine.  Kintamani checked off Dyna Francine approaching the ifrst turn.  Dyna Helena and Aston Ranza collided on the first turn.  Lektra Zephyr and Aston Ranza raced wide on the second turn.  Dyna Francine checked off Aston Ranza on the home turn.  Kintamani raced wide on the home turn.

Liebig Street and Chill Out Al were slow to begin.  Liebig Street and Velocity Lilly collided on the first turn checking Liebig Street.  Liebig Street faltered approaching the second turn and lost ground.  Chill Out Al and Rajasthan collided on the second turn.  Velocity Lilly faltered on the third turn and tailed off as a result.

Liebig Street was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right calf and back muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Velocity Lilly was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triangle muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Snags McKenzie.

Dolly Mac, Snags McKenzie, Dyna Garner and Riley Allen collided soon after the start checking Snags McKenzie and Riley Allen.  Saetta and Lektra Caution collided soon after the start.  Lektra Caution galloped on the heels of Dolly Mac on the first turn, severely checking Dolly Mac which lost ground, checking Lektra Caution which raced wide as a result.

Dolly Mac was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Miles Per Gallon and Buy Me Diamonds collided soon after the start.  Rappa Flash, Miles Per Gallon and Buy Me Diamonds collided approaching the first turn checking Miles Per Gallon.  Tell Nobody faltered approaching the second turn.  Poor Old Frank and Osakalaka collided entering the back straight causing Osakalaka to falter and pull up.  Crackerjack Doug raced wide on the home turn.

Osakalaka was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hock, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Tell Nobody was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right calf, and right chest, a 21 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to  Mrs J. Greenough, Trainer of the greyhound.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Tell Nobody with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mrs Greenough pleaded guilty to the charge, Tell Nobody was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Zipping Potter was slow to begin.  No Excuse, Winsome Fernando, Axel Footluce, Lagoon Rhett and Mepunga Bella collided soon after the start checking Axel Footluce and Lagoon Rhett causing both greyhounds to collide.  No Excuse and Nunniong Plain collided on the first turn.  Axel Footluce, Lagoon Rhett and Dyna Xerox collided on the first turn causing Zipping Potter to race wide.  Zipping Potter raced wide on the home turn.  Axel Footluce and Dyna Xerox collided entering the home straight.

Zoro Bale, Rollin' With It, Ace Allen, Wise Piquet and Loch Tight collided on the first turn checking Zoro Bale and Rollin' With It.  Zoro Bale and Rollin' With It collided entering the front straight causing Rollin' With It to race wide.  Ace Allen, Zoro Bale, Molly Chapta and Wise Piquet collided on the second turn checking Molly Chapta, Rollin' With it and Wise Piquet.

A sample was taken from Dyna Patty, the winner of the event.

Dyna Patty broke the first split track record over 600m with a time recorded of 8.77, previous record was 8.79.

Uringa was slow to begin.  Why Not Ginger, Penta Allen, Dyna Harpa and Pants On Fire collided approaching the first turn checking Penta Allen and Poke The Bear.  Dyna Harpa and Pants On Fire collided on the first turn.  Dyna Oscar, Penta Allen and Poke The Bear collided on the first turn checking Poke The Bear causing Penta Allen to race wide.  Poke The Bear, Penta Allen and Uringa collided approaching the third turn checking Uringa.

Full Of Weetbix, Foxy Whip and Seminole Wind collided soon after the start.  Trademark Rocky, Smash Flash and Full Of Weetbix collided approaching the first turn checking Full Of Weetbix which collided with Seminole Wine and Foxy Whip causing all three greyhounds to race wide.  Full Of Weetbix checked off Go Slow Goldy in the home straight.

A sample was taken from Gracioso, the winner of the event.

Wise Lewis and Zanthre Allen were slow to begin.  Whip Allen and Another Bling collided soon after the start.  Wise Lewis and Zanthre Allen collided approaching the first turn.  Whip Allen, Wise Lewis and Zanthre Allen collided on the first turn checking Wise Lewis and Zanthre Allen.  Orleans checked off Whip Allen on the third turn.
