Steward's Report
An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Kip Moss engaged in this event on 10 December 2018 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Up And About and Wok Djay were slow to begin.
Annabelle Lee and Up And About collided on the first turn checking Annabelle Lee which stumbled. Wok Djay checked off Annabelle Lee on the first turn. Wok Djay and Annabelle Lee collided on the home turn. Wok Djay eased entering the home straight severely checking Annabelle Lee. Kip Moss eased in the home straight.
Kip Moss was vetted and re-vetted following event 5. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr S. Kipirtidis, the trainer of the greyhound Kip Moss regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Kip Moss with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Kipirtidis pleaded not guilty to the charge, Kip Moss was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
