An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Lambros engaged in this event on 10 December 2018 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Tex Kingdom and Akina Spot were slow to begin.

Lambros and Regal Duke collided soon after the start checking Lambros.  Tex Burger crossed out soon after the start checking Flat Stick and Navy Storm.  Akina spot and Parumba Ned collided approaching the first turn.  Akins Spot and Parumba Ned collided approaching the first turn. Flat Stick contacted the running rail on the first turn.  Tex Burger and Regal Duke collided on the first turn checking Regal Duke, Navy Storm, Lambros, Parumba Ned, Akina Spot and severely checking Tex Burger, causing Parumba Ned, Lambros and Akina Spot to race wide.  Tex Kingdom raced wide on the first turn and again on the home turn.  Lambros and Akina Spot raced wide on the home turn.  Lambros raced wide in the home straight.  

Tex Burger was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left radius, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Flat Stick was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left metatarsal, a 3 day stand down period was imposed. 

Stewards charged Mr P. Rowley with a breach of GAR 46(2) in that he failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound Akina Spot.

Stewards charged Mr J. Carr with a breach of GAR 46(2) in that he failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound Parumba Ned.

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Kip Moss engaged in this event on 10 December 2018 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Up And About and Wok Djay were slow to begin.

Annabelle Lee and Up And About collided on the first turn checking Annabelle Lee which stumbled.  Wok Djay checked off Annabelle Lee on the first turn.  Wok Djay and Annabelle Lee collided on the home turn.  Wok Djay eased entering the home straight severely checking Annabelle Lee.  Kip Moss eased in the home straight. 

Kip Moss was vetted and re-vetted following event 5.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr S. Kipirtidis, the trainer of the greyhound Kip Moss regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Kip Moss with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Kipirtidis pleaded not guilty to the charge, Kip Moss was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Wok Djay was vetted and re-vetted following event 11.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr D. Graham, the representative of the greyhound Wok Djay regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Wok Djay with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Graham pleaded not guilty to the charge, Wok Djay was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Cranbourne and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mr J. Booker, trainer of Burning Steel declared a new weight of 31.7kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Burning Steel last raced at 30.6kgs.

Emilio's Jet and Maverick Bob were quick to begin.  Good Move, Charlie Bear, Burning Steel and Flash Logie were slow to begin.

  Thumbs and Strycova collided on the first turn checking Thumbs, Burning Steel and severely checking Strycova, Charlie Bear and Flash Logie, Strycova fell as a result.  

Strycova was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Tankalicious was slow to begin.

Tankalicious, Grande Fratello and Why Not Maxine collided soon after the start.  Tankalicious and Grande Fratello collided approaching the first turn.  Akina Dee Jay and Tempered collided approaching the first turn.  Akina Dee Jay and Newfire Drewie collided on the first turn.  Tankalicious and Why Not Maxine collided on the first turn.  Tempered and Grande Fratello collided on the first turn.  Akina Dee Jay checked off Newfire Drewie on the second turn.  Newfire Drewie and Grande Fratello collided entering the home straight.

Deano's Smidge and Azure Dragon were slow to begin.

Renaldo and Don't Trust collided approaching the first turn checking Don't Trust.  Rock Johnson and Dynamic Rrainbow collided on the first turn checking Dynamic Rainbow.  Don't Trust and Deano's Smidge collided on the first turn checking Don't Trust.  

Don't Trust was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist sprain, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Voluptuous Ruby was slow to begin.

Rapid Belle Noir and Why Not Kylie collided soon after the start checking Rapid Belle Noir.  Dundee Jitterbug, Akina Moss, Akina Blitz and Rapid Belle Noir collided several times approaching the first turn checking Dundee Jitterbug, Akina Blitz, Rapid Belle Noir and Voluptuous Ruby.

Marko Bale and Whiney Whine collided soon after the start checking Whiney Whine.  Pink Floyd and Lingua Franca collided approaching the first turn.  Lingua Franca and Brayden Lennox collided approaching the first turn.  Yogi Mikado and Pink Floyd collided on the first turn.  Lingua Franca checked off Yogi Mikado on the first turn.  Pink Floyd and Lingua Franca collided approaching the second turn.  Brayden Lennox clipped the heels of Marko Bale on the third turn checking Brayden Lennox.  Pink Floyd checked off Brayden Lennox approaching the home turn.  

Mrs Y. Andrews, trainer of Nitroniun declared a new weight of 32.4kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Nitroniun last raced at 34.1kgs.

Really Magic was quick to begin.

Desiree Dancer and Ivey's Affair collided soon after the start checking Ivey's Affair.  Really Magic crossed in approaching the first turn checking Rahni.  Penny Worth, Rahni and Let's Run collided on the first turn checking Penny Worth, Rahni and Desireee Dancer.  Rahni race wide in the home straight.

Brandeen Bayley and Roland View were slow to begin.

Bide Your Time crossed in approaching the first turn checking Buckle Up Spud.  Yenderra Blue galloped on Pistol approaching the first turn checking Yenderra Blue and severely checking Pistol in turn checking Buckle Up Spud and Roland View.  Brandeen Bayley checked off Yenderra Blue approaching the home turn.  Brandeen Bayley and Buckle Up Spud collided in the home straight. 

A pre-race sample was contaminated and unbale to be obtained from Blackhawk Parker a post-race sample was subsequently taken.

An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Birkenhead engaged in this event on 10 December 2018 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Miss Dozer was a late scratching at 10.21pm due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Ninetymile Donny and New Fire Girl were slow to begin.
