Snakes Alive was slow to begin.

Cosmic Courtney, Golden Moon and La Coconut collided on the first turn checking La Coconut and severely checking Golden Moon, and severely checking Snakes Alive which pulled up as a result.

Cosmic Courtney raced wide on the home turn and collided with Storming Vixen, checking both greyhounds.

Golden Moon was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a injury to the left quadriceps muscle and a laceration, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Snakes Alive was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 4, it was reported that the greyhound sustained a right hock sprain and a right pencil muscle injury, a 14 day stand down period was imposed. The on track veterinarian has requested the greyhound be presented to a clinic within 24 hours for an xray on the injured hock to determine if there is a fracture.

A sample was taken from Aunty Chris - the winner of the event.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Big Cam a post race sample was subsequently taken.

Wolfie's Squeeze and Flying Jamaica were quick to begin.

Wolfie's Squeeze, Miss Dangerwood and Outbreak Girl collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. Winlock Shakey contacted the running rail approaching the home turn.checking Wolfie's Squeeze. Outbreak Girl and Big Cam raced wide on the home turn. Miss Dangerwood and Outbreak Girl collided in the home straight.

Winlock Shakey was vetted following the event.   It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to both wrists and an injury to the left shoulder, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Duniam, the trainer of Miss Murino regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Miss Murino last raced on 27th August 2018. Mr Duniam stated that the greyhound was returning to racing from being on season.

A sample was taken from Greg's Choice at the trainer's property earlier today.

The start of this event  was delayed approximately one minute due to a muzzle change being required for Greg's Choice.

Frosty Snowman, Goldenpaw Lad, Reign Of Omar and Rippin' Bartel collided soon after the start checking Reign Of Omar and Rippin' Bartel. Awesome Freckles, Reign Of Omar and Game Spirit raced wide on the home turn. Reign Of Omar crossed to the rail in the home straight. Game Spirit raced wide in the home straight. Awesome Freckles tired in the home straight.

Playlord stumbled at box rise and lost considerable ground. Sight Screen, Alpanda and Paris Marie collided approaching the first turn checking Alpanda and Paris Marie.

Crymelon Rip, Lacarabine and Miss Oreo Mac collided soon after the start checking Miss Oreo Mac.
