Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Ellis, the handler of Bob's Hammer regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Bob's Hammer last raced on 30th July 2018. Mr. Ellis stated that the greyhound was resuming racing from an infected tail.
Pamela Rocks was slow to begin. Brave Hearted was very slow to begin (4L).
Bob's Hammer and Blondy Two collided on the first turn checking Blondy Two. Milly's Coconut and Our Magic Turbo collided on the first turn. Milly's Coconut checked off Bob's Hammer entering the back straight checking Soda Geoff. Blondy Two and Brave Hearted collided on the second turn checking Blondy Two. Soda Geoff and Brave Hearted collided approaching the home checking both greyhounds causing Brave Hearted to contacted the running rail as a result. Bob's Hammer and Our Magic Turbo collided entering the the home straight. Argyle Franklin checked off Our Magic Turbo in the home straight. Pamela Rocks checked off Our Magic Turbo approaching the winning post checking Milly's Coconut.
Brave Hearted was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained swelling in the lumber region. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.
