Racecourse Road was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound showed signs of cramping in the home straight and catching pen. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed. 

Maybe Hannibal was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right monkey muscle. A stand down period of 21 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. N. Tait, the representative of the greyhound Racecourse Road.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Ellis, the handler of Bob's Hammer regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Bob's Hammer last raced on 30th July 2018. Mr. Ellis stated that the greyhound was resuming racing from an infected tail.

Pamela Rocks was slow to begin. Brave Hearted was very slow to begin (4L).

Satisfactory Trial Results - Hammer Head trialled over the 425mt from box 8, weight 33.4kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 24.40, the greyhound won by a margin of 6.5L. Hammer Head was cleared.
