Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Sisco Dun upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Kulu Ozzie crossed out soon after the start checking Kulu Ozzie, Weeona Bont, Fast Izzi and Real Obsession. Dyna Yezza and Blue Shadows collided approaching the first turn. Kulu Ozzie checked off Weeona Bont approaching the first turn. Weeona Bont checked off Real Obsession on the first turn. Real Obsession and Dyna Yezza collided approaching the second turn. Weeona Bont checked off Real Obsession approaching the third turn checking Dyna Yezza.
Stewards spoke to handler Mr J. Galea after he failed to appear at the kennels within 5 minutes of the appointed time to retrieve his greyhound Sisco Dun for the event. Stewards subsequently charged Mr Galea with breach of GAR 46(2). Mr Galea pleaded guilty to the charge, was found guilty and fined the sum of $150.00. Stewards took into consideration Mr Galea's guilty plea, his good record and general deterrence.
