Canterbury and Psychedelic Jay were slow to begin. Romany Girl and Always Alone collided approaching the first turn. Run The Route and Canterbury collided approaching the first turn. Dyna Alice, Romany Girl and Always Alone collided on the first turn, checking Dyna Alice, Romany Girl, Canterbury, Run The Route and Psychedelic Jay; severely checking Always One. Dyna Alice and Canterbury collided approaching the second turn.
Stewards issued a warning to trainer, Mr Travis Howell regarding his failure to engage a catcher for Dyna Alice in this event, pursuant to GAR 48.
Always Alone was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hindleg triangle injury, a five day stand down period was imposed.
