Steward's Report

Temporalis was quick to begin.  Little Miss VIP was slow to begin.  Yandi, Little Red Hot, Crymelon You Cro and Bingo Boon collided soon after the start, checking Little Red Hot.  Yandi and Little Red Hot collided several times approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Sugar Bear and Crymelon You Cro collided approaching the home turn, checking Crymelon You Cro and Bingo Boon.  Yandi and Little Red Hot collided approaching the home turn, checking Yandi.  Bingo Boon checked off Sugar Bear on the home turn.  Temporalis and Rod Vader collided several times approaching the winning post.

Temporalis was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained right foreleg shoulder and left and right hindleg groin injuries, a five day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr Mathew Tabb, the trainer of Temporalis, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

A sample was taken from Rod Vader - the winner of the event.
