Huge Allen was quick to begin. Spring Bridge and Light The Track were slow to begin. Spring Bridge stumbled soon after the start and lost ground as a result. Spring Bridge checked off Rapanui Revival on the first turn. Rapanui Revival contacted the running rail on the second turn.
Spring Bridge was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a grazed left front nail. No stand down period was imposed.
Rapanui Revival was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its left triangle muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
