Dukey Duke and Och Eye Mum collided soon after the start.  Och Eye Mum and Dustification collided approaching the first turn.  Och Eye Mum checked off Dustification approaching the first turn severely checking Hope To Wyn; Och Eye Mum stumbled and lost ground as a result.  Dukey Duke raced wide approaching the second turn.  Black Opaque checked off Dustification on the third turn.

Och Eye Mum underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

Ruth's Girl - Late scratching at 1:11pm on the advice of the On-Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a left hock injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Star Fever was quick to begin.  Mindil Beach was slow to begin.

Threadin' Mikado checked off Ya Ya Ya on the first turn and again on the second turn.  Threadin' Mikado and Hedonistic collided entering the back straight.  Star Fever and Ya Ya Ya collided on the third turn. Star Fever and Ya Ya Ya collided several times from the home straight to approaching the winning post.

Ya Ya Ya underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left deltoid muscle injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Ben Divirgilio, the handler of Ya Ya Ya regarding its performance on the third turn. After taking evidence from Mr. Divirgilio and reviewing the head-on footage, Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory. Acting in accordance with GAR 71, Ya Ya Ya must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Red Queen was quick to begin.  Lava Lamp, Sweet Strike and It's A Diva were slow to begin.

Lava Lamp and Sweet Strike collided on the first turn and again on the second turn severely checking both greyhounds.  Buddy Blinx, Zipping Hazel and Poison Gas collided approaching the second turn checking Buddy Blinx and Zipping Hazel.  Buddy Blinx checked off Poison Gas on the second turn checking Zipping Hazel.  Buddy Blinx and Poison Gas collided entering the home straight.  Zipping Hazel checked off Buddy Blinx entering the home straight.  Buddy Blinx and Red Queen collided in the home straight.

It's A Diva underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race blood sample was taken from Bump's Nugget - the winner of the event.

Side Splitting was slow to begin.

Why Not Kez and Tezzalenko collided on the first turn.  Side Splitting and Mega Hazel collided on the first turn and again on the second turn.

Flowing was quick to begin.

Lonnie Danger, Atlas True Blue, George's Fever, Stevie Dee and Silvio Dante collided on the first turn checking Atlas True Blue, Stevie Dee and Rellim Diesel.  George's Fever and Silvio Dante collided approaching the second turn.  Atlas True Blue and Stevie Dee collided approaching the second turn.  George's Fever checked off Silvio Dante entering the back straight.
