Steward's Report
A sample was taken from Lagoon Rhett upon arrival at the course.
A pre-race sample was taken from Headspace.
Zipping Dodge, Big Deal and Striking Weetbix were slow to begin. Zelzer Allen crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Big Deal and Lektra Zephyr. Zelzer Allen checked off Striking Weetbix on the first turn causing Zelzer Allen to stumble as a result, severely checking Zipping Dodge and Big Deal. Headspace, Palisades Park and Striking Weetbix collided on the first turn and again on the second turn checking Palisades Park and Striking Weetbix. Zipping Dodge and Big Deal collided on the second turn.
Big Deal was vetted following the event at the Trainer's request. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Zelzer Allen was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
