Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Talmage.
Chelsea Road and Dirty Stella collided approaching the first turn. Fake It and Aston Moscato collided approaching the first turn. Dirty Stella checked off Aston Moscato on the first turn. Aston Moscato checked off Fake It approaching the home turn and collided with Talmage. Talmage and Aston Moscato collided on the home turn checking Bad Driver and severely checking Aston Moscato which fell as a result.
Aston Moscato underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have soreness to the left thigh and a spike wound to the left hind. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
