Clouded Acorn, Winlock Slim, Petey Baqui and Winlock Rose collided approaching the first turn checking Winlock Slim and Petey Baqui. Winlock Slim and Lektra Flirt collided approaching the home turn. Winlock Slim and Lektra Flirt collided on the home turn.
Lektra Flirt underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have spike wounds to the right front and back legs and soreness in right quadricep muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning to trainer Mr. V. Inguanti for negligence under GAR 86(o) after he attempted to place Clouded Acorn in the incorrect box.
