A pre-race sample was taken from Miss Minjee.
Yakima and Keeper Of Keys collided soon after the start. Submission and Saint Destructor collided soon after the start. Submission and Miss Minjee collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Minjee. Miss Minjee and Yakima collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Yakima and Miss Minjee collided on the third turn checking Miss Minjee.
Miss Minjee underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to both trapezius muscles, both stopper bones and the right triangle muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Yakima underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of the trainer and was found to have a split webbing and dislocated toe on the left hind paw. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
