Miss Minjee and Yakima collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Yakima and Miss Minjee collided on the third turn checking Miss Minjee.

Miss Minjee underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to both trapezius muscles, both stopper bones and the right triangle muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Yakima underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the request of the trainer and was found to have a split webbing and dislocated toe on the left hind paw. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Alpine Cowboy and Driftin' Away collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Driftin' Away and Striking Success collided soon after the start.  Alpine Cowboy and Rosie Reigns collided approaching the first turn.  Striking Success raced wide on the first turn.  Shifting Sands and Driftin' Away collided on the first turn severely checking Shifting Sands, Driftin' Away, Striking Success and Rosie Reigns. 

Shifting Sands underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left monkey muscle, left wrist, right triangle muscle and both trapezius muscles. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Striking Success underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left deltoid muscle and the right quadricep muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Mandible underwent a post-race veterinary examination following an incident in the catching pen - no apparent injury was reported.

Bump's Nugget and Bolta Neveelk collided soon after the start.  Maggie Mikado and Railway Burra collided soon after the start.  Sparky Neveelk, Zipping Hazel and Bump's Nugget collided on the first turn checking Zipping Hazel, Bump's Nugget and Maggie Mikado.  Maggie Mikado raced wide on the first turn.  Sparky Neveelk raced wide in the back straight.  Railway Burra and Bolta Neveelk collided approaching the third turn checking Bolta Neveelk and Bump's Nugget.  Sparky Neveelk and Maggie Mikado collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Sparky Neveelk underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the right pencil muscle, right triangle muscle and left sesamoid. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to the Trainer Mr Gerry Kleeven regarding the greyhound's below market expectation performance.  Mr Kleeven stated he was disappointed with the performance and that connections will be assesing the greyhounds racing future.

A pre-race sample was taken from Roger That.

Roger That stumbled at the start and lost ground (3 lengths).  Ice Cold Yug stumbled at the start. Blur was slow to begin.

Ruby Girl and Ice Cold Yug collided soon after the start.  Noaki Colour, Miyagi Magic and Blur collided approaching the first turn checking Miyagi Magic.  Blur, Python Pride and Ice Cold Yug collided approaching the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  Noaki Colour and Aston Tequila collided on the home turn.
