Lights Of Tanjil and Destini Trucker were quick to begin. Diego Fernando, Galloping Rokyto, Mahjong Ted and Goldrush Rose collided soon after the start. Lights Of Tanjil, Destini Trucker and Goldrush Rose collided on the first turn checking Destini Trucker and severely checking Lights Of Tanjil and Diego Fernando, checking Galloping Rokyto as a result. Lights Of Tanjil raced wide in the home straight.
Lights Of Tanjil underwent a pot race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.
