Mrs A Dailly was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Dyna Waqa pursuant to GAR 33.
A pre race sample was taken from Dyna Waqa.
Tiger Dusty was slow to begin and crossed to the rail soon after the start. Ma's Plum Jam checked off Franki Jay approaching the second turn. Dyna Waqa checked off Hot Jean approaching the second turn. Dyna Waqa and Hot Jean collided on the third turn, Hot Jean brushed the running rail as a result. Tiger Dusty and Ma's Plum Jam collided approaching the home turn checking Tiger Dusty. Tiger Dusty and Hot Jean collided approaching the home turn.
Hot Jean underwent a post reace veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left hind toe. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
