Serendipity Babe contacted the running rail on the first turn. Serendipity Babe checked off the heels of Talkback Caller approaching the home turn. Goofey Express, Cool Talent and Talkback Caller raced wide on the home turn.

Serendipity Babe was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

The On-Track Veterinarian examined Sonny Micawber and no illness was detected. Sonny Micawber was a late scratching at 6.26pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Ms Alison Patten was fined the sum of $100. During the vet examination, the On-Track Veterinarian found that Sonny Micawber a right shoulder injury.

She's Wicked, Quen Bale and Zenstar were quick to begin. Lonesome Spring was slow to begin.

Calabrese Bullet faltered approaching the first turn and tailed off as a result. Cash Or Card and Quen Bale collided on the first turn. Lonesome Spring raced wide on the home turn. Cash Or Card and Princess Parker collided entering the home straight.

Calabrese Bullet was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right back muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Bomber's Baby was slow to begin.

Heza Real Deal and Jiggy's Luck collided soon after the start. Super Stoked, Discovered, Pyrenees Petraca, Bomber's Baby, Jiggy's Luck and Heza Real Deal collided on the first turn checking Jiggy's Luck, Heza Real Deal, Bomber's Baby and Discovered. Bomber's Baby, Jiggy's Luck and Heza Real Deal collided on the first turn checking Jiggy's Luck and Heza Real Deal. Discovered, Jiggy's Luck and Super Stoked raced wide on the home turn. 

Mack Trident, Communique and Pingin' Bee were slow to begin.

Pingin' Bee and Kamchatka Lenny collided on the first turn checking Pingin' Bee which lost ground as a result. Blondy Two, Communique and Kamchatka Lenny collided on the second turn checking Communique. Mack Trident and Pingin' Bee collided on the home turn. Total Mayhem and Laile Brobio collided on the first turn checking Laile Brobio who collided with Miss Murino as a result. Tasvilla checked off the heels of Chilling Story on the first turn. Miss Murino raced wide on the home turn.

Fernando's Flare crossed to the rails on the first turn checking Limburg Patrick who collided with Deep Creek Girl and Lindy Bop as a result. Flossy Lee, Limburg Patrick and You Blue collided approaching the home turn. Flossy Lee, Limburg Patrick and Deep Creek Girl collided heavily entering the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr P. Desmond, the trainer of Attack Plan regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Attack Plan last raced on 7th November 2018. Mr Desmond stated that the greyhound was resuming from a right back muscle injury.

Moondust and Shot Of Spice collided soon after the start. Phoebe's Angel crossed to the rails approaching the first turn checking Zipping Cisco who collided with Zipping Chance and Attack plan as a result, Zipping Chance, Moondust, Attack Plan and Shot Of Spice collided on the first turn checking Attack Plan and Shot Of Spice. Zipping Cisco and Shot Of Spice raced wide on the home turn.
