A pre-race sample was taken from All Inn Misshap.
All Inn Misshap, Redcliff Rebel and Strike Power collided soon after the start, checking Redcliff Rebel. Strike Power crossed to the rail approaching the first turn, checking All Inn Misshap, Orleans and You Aussie. Ice Cold Yug and Rave On collided approaching the first turn. Kraken Witch and Strike Power collided approaching the first turn. Kraken Witch and Ice Cold Yug collided approaching the home turn. All Inn Misshap raced wide on the home turn and collided with You Aussie, checking both greyhounds. Orleans galloped on the heels of Strike Power on the home turn, checking Strike Power.
Strike Power was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to the right hindleg and a left foreleg monkey muscle injury, a seven day stand down period was imposed.
