Stewards spoke to Mr Shayne Fisher, the handler of Dyna Yella, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Dyna Yella last raced on 18 September 2018. Dyna Yella stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being seasonal.
This meeting was deemed ‘hot weather affected’, prior to the running of this event the outside temperature was 33.1 degrees and the kennel temperature was 19.3 degrees.
Sienna's Gem was quick to begin. Kabo's Winlock was slow to begin. Jumbo Bale, Dyna Yella and Tye Me Chopper collided soon after the start, checking Dyna Yella.
